Fuel prices form a large % of our costs and as we all know they are volatile at the moment. Therefore we use a fuel surcharge to reflect the changes in our cost base.
We have used the 2023 average price of 158.50 pence per litre of diesel (ULSD) as a base to calculate the % increase in 2024. In order to smooth the fluctuations we have used a weekly year to date average for 2024 fuel prices. This applies to tariffs effective from 1 February 2024 onwards.
All prices are taken from the Government Website

When we reach the next boundary (up or down) the appropriate surcharge will automatically be applied to your invoices from the following Monday. We will write to inform you.
