Pallet size definitions

We work with three pallet base definitions

Standard Pallet Sizes

Euro Pallet Sizes

If you have pallets over 1200kgs up to 2000kgs please ask us for a price and availability.

Charging

  • Shipments of 1-3 pallets are charged as Full, Half or Quarter pallets. Prices are based on pallet base size;
  • Shipments of 4 and above pallets are charged according to the Network 4+ rate card. The prices are lower for Euro pallets than Standard pallets.

  • If a shipment contains any Standard or Oversize pallets, we charge the whole shipment at the Standard pallet rates. The discount for Euro pallets does not apply.

Oversize pricing

Pallets up to 360 cm long. Each 30 cm over standard pallet base size of 120 x 120 up to 360 x 240 cm, we charge an additional 25% on the full, half or quarter price in Network standard pallet rate card:

‍Pallets over 360 cm long. Rates will be based on the standard pallet Network service price.

We calculate loading metres as follows:

Bundles

Maximum bundle weights and dimensions are:

A bundle must accompany a pallet and be smaller than the maximum bundle dimensions and weight noted above. The additional charge is €21.50 per bundle.

If the bundle does not accompany a pallet, there are 2 options:

  • We will charge it as an oversized pallet or
  • We will make up a dummy quarter pallet for the destination. Charge will be:
    - Quarter pallet rate based on destination and service plus
    - €21.50 bundle charge plus
    - €30.00 handling.

Please inform us if you want to send bundles before you send the first shipment. We have to make special arrangements.

It is the responsibility of the sender to ensure that the delivery paperwork clearly states that the receiver is signing for two items i.e. the pallet and the bundle.
